Experience the Gift of Dance for Free

Over the past 25 years Gotta Dance by Miss Amy has been building a relationship with our community, school district, and churches. Throughout those years we have had an abundance of love as well as loss. We honor the loss of students through scholarships. A scholarship will award one person, meeting the family’s criteria, a free year of dance. (The scholarship will pay for one style of dance classes for the 2023 - 2024 dance season.)

This year will be the first year that we offer one scholarship per year. This year we are honoring the memory of Jennifer L. Quackenbush. I encourage everyone to apply. The Quackenbush family will make their decision and announce it the first week of July. Learn more about Jennifer and how to apply for her dance scholarship.

2023 Scholarship

Jennifer L. Quackenbush August 18, 1988 - December 30, 2006

Jennifer was a lifetime resident of Albion. She was a member of the Albion 1st Presbyterian Church where she was active in the God Squad Youth Group. She was a 2006 graduate of Albion Central School where she was active on the Swim Team and played the trumpet in Marching Band and Pit Orchestra. Jennifer was also a former Girl Scout and enjoyed many years of dance instruction with Miss Amy at Gotta Dance. Dance was a family affair where all of Jennifer’s sisters, nephew, mom and dad danced.

Jennifer’s family has asked me to help with the requirements of this scholarship. Everyone is eligible to apply for the Jennifer Quackenbush Scholarship.
